Erik Prince raises private army for UAE

According to the New York Times, the UAE has purchased an up to 800 strong army of mercenaries and Erik Prince, founder and former owner of Blackwater is behind it all. Considering the Arab spring that's taken the Middle East and Northern Africa by storm this year.
And apparently Prince has one rule: hire no Muslims, as they can't be counted on to kill fellow Muslims. So is this starting a new era of hired guns, and mercenary armies? And, is it completely legal? University of Virginia Law School's Christopher Swift discusses.
