'Freedom' hopes die as Egypt faiths cross swords in clashes

In Cairo, Muslim and Christian leaders have met to to try and ease religious tensions that have spilt over into deadly violence. They called on Egyptians to unite.

Clashes reportedly started because of an interfaith marriage, considered forbidden by religious purists. More than 10 people have been killed on both sides and 2 Christian churches burnt down since the trouble started. Christians, want more rights and say they are not being protected by the interim government put in place following the revolution that deposed President Hosni Mubarak. RT's Maria Finoshina reports on a post-dictatorship reality.
