MCA’s dare to Pakatan

KOTA KINABALU: Pakatan Rakyat has been challenged to name its choice for prime minister if it wins the general election, MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek said.

He added that while Barisan Nasional might not be perfect, but under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, the coalition was doing its best for the country.

Dr Chua said Najib’s Economic Transformation Programme to turn Malaysia into a high income nation was an important agenda that needed to be carried through to sustain the economy, and this could be done through strong leadership from the Barisan.

“In order to see it succeed, we have the leadership.

“But, until today, it is still doubtful who is the leader coming from Pakatan.

“If you want to vote for a party, you must know who is going to be the prime minister,” he said after opening the Sabah MCA convention here yesterday.
