US: Growing trend, turning students into criminals
Texas examined almost a million children in almost 4,000 Texas schools and found that 6 in 10 public school students in Texas were suspended or expelled at least once between 7th and 12th grade. And those who were suspended or expelled were nearly three times as likely to come in contact with the juvenile system the following year. Huffington Post's Radley Balko discusses.
