Grounded Cargo Ship Breaks Apart on New Zealand Reef



A cargo ship grounded off the New Zealand coast for months has split into two pieces after being lashed by pounding seas. The disaster is sparking fears a fresh oil spill could wash ashore, maritime officials said. (Jan. 7)
