Student activist charged with obstructing police
A 22-year-old Universiti Malaya student activist claimed trial in the Kuala Lumpur magistrate's court today with obstructing police officers in their duty.
Mohamed Bukhairy Mohamed Safian (right), a second year student at the Islamic Academy, is charged with obstruction by behaving aggressively with police officer Rohaizat Akbar Ramlie near the Ar Rahman mosque on Jalan Pantai Baharu about 11.35pm on Jan 6.
