If there’s someone who can talk with authority about the importance of innovation, it’s the CEO of BlackBerry, right?

Probably not — but that didn’t prevent BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins from giving his take on the current state of smartphone interfaces. The gist: While the iPhone was the bee’s knees of innovation years ago, the smartphone market is leaving it behind.

Russian Meteor Explosion

This terrifying video of a meteor explosion over Chelyabinsk, Russia, is one of many angles of the fiery event captured by amateurs Friday.

This particularly dramatic angle of the explosion over a highway shows a bright flash in the sky, as the 10-ton meteor releases several kilotons of energy. The meteor explosion reportedly injured hundreds, mainly due to flying shards of glass.

Helicopter Crash Caught On Camera - Top Gear Korea

This was an accident that was caught on camera during filming for Top Gear Korea. Thankfully no one was seriously injured. The original challenge pitted presenter Kim Jin Pyo in a Corvette ZR1 against an AH1 Cobra helicopter in true Top Gear style.
