KL shares easier at midday
At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI lost 2.51 points to 1,520.15 after opening 1.04 points higher at 1,523.7.
Some 502.88 million shares worth RM566.31 million changed hands with losers leading gainers 305 to 271.The Finance Index slipped 53.609 points to 13,419.66 while the Plantation Index surged 66.83 points to 8,653.74 and the Industrial Index gained 5.17 points to 2,776.92.
The FBM Emas fell 5.6 points to 10,521.28. The FBM Mid 70 added 32.34 points to 11,925.49 but the FBM ACE lost 25.81 points to 4,341.92.
Among active stocks, Maybank declined five sen to RM8.21, AirAsia shed two sen to RM3.60 and Bumi Armada fell seven sen to RM4.06.
Nestle lost 30 sen to RM55.70 while Dutch Lady Milk and SCC Holdings slipped 20 sen each to RM25.78 and 65 sen respectively. -- BERNAMA
